POLE KITTEN 2025

You may enter the Rising Kitten (Amateur) Division

• If you are currently enrolled in a beginner to pre-intermediate or equivalent level 
• If you have not previously placed in an amateur competition, state heat or National Finals in an Amateur Division.

Competitors in the Amateur Division must not perform any upside-down pole tricks, this will result in immediate disqualification.

There are three places to win (First, Second and Third)

You may enter the Up-and-coming Kitten (Semi Pro) Division

• If you have placed first in a state heat or National Finals in the Amateur Division.
• Or, you can enter this division if you are enrolled in Intermediate to High-Intermediate or equivalent level.

Competitors in the Semi Pro Division can perform upside down tricks, excluding Ayesha, Iron X, Spatchcock, Rainbow, Shoulder mounts and dynamic flips.

There are three places to win (First, Second and Third)

You may enter Elite Kitten (Professional) Division

• If you have placed first in a state heat or National Finals in the Amateur Division.
• If you have competed in a state heat or National Final at a Professional level.
• Or, you can enter this division if you are enrolled in Pre-Advanced/Advanced to elite or equivalent level.

There are no restrictions to tricks.

There are three places to win (First, Second and Third)

Group Division is open to everyone, all genders and between 2-4 people.

No more than 2 people are to be on the same poles at all times, more than 2 will result in instant disqualification.

There is one place to win 

Playful Kitten will be awarded to the most interactive performer.

This is a sponsors choice award that will go to  the crowd pleaser for the night!

Cheeky Kitten will be awarded to the most daring and boldest of performers.

This is a sponsors choice award that will go to the most spiciest dancer on the night!

Vulgar or offensive performances will result in immediate disqualification. If you aren’t sure, please call or email us to discuss your show ideas.

Classique Kitten will be awarded to the performer who celebrates the art of traditional pole dance with emphasis on sensuality, flexibility and grace.

Traditional heels required to be in the running for this sponsors choice award.

Competitors will be judged on the following criteria:

• Performance (Crowd appeal and interaction): 15 points
• Dance (Dance movement and use of stage): 10 points
• Tricks (Execution and technique): 5 points
• Costume: 5 points

Group Division on all of the above plus synchronization: 10 points

Performances must be under 4 minutes.

There will be 3 guest judges. 

Performers are permitted to use any props provided that:

• the space allows for it physically;
• it is of a size that can be easily moved by 2 people
• it can be set up and completely removed in under 2 minutes.

If any props are to be used, performers must advise us by email.

Approved for stage:

• Human Props 
• Removal of costumes/ clothing costume, g-string and pasties allowed.
• Competitors are welcome to instead use large confetti. 
• Liquids. Drop sheets must be used Competitors must provide towels or any necessary cleaning products to clean up mess. Approval required.

Stage Information:

• Poles are 38 mm brass competition-grade Pussycat Poles, defaulted to spin. 
• There will be 2 poles in total, please use the stage to its entirety. 

Poles can be cleaned with a dry wipe, metho wipe or dry hands. All other grip aids must not be put directly onto the pole but may be applied to the performers body.

• You must submit a show description with your entry.
• You must notify the us by email with any significant changes to your performance, no later than 2 weeks before the date of the final.
• A entry fee must be paid prior to your application.

• Competitors must arrive at the venue no later than 4pm, on the day of the competition, for rehearsals.
• Competitors must not consume alcohol or any prohibited substance prior to performing, this will result in an immediate disqualification if consumed.
• Competitors must not allow any guests back stage 
• Competitors must wear full costume for photos during the award ceremony
